Semester long classes and weeklong summer camps give youth entering grades 5 – 12 an opportunity to explore their own creativity and try out different media. Portfolio development and individual critiques are offered for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.
Try something new, expand on previous knowledge or just have a good time doing art. PAL instructors and guest artists teach one to three day workshops in all media. This is a good way to investigate new materials and meet PAL instructors. Check out our workshops HERE
The Pacific Art League organizes and presents ten monthly themed exhibitions, juried by Bay Area arts professionals, and two annual members exhibitions. If you are interested in submitting work, please visit our Call for Entries page HERE for more details.
Gallery Hours are Monday - Friday 10 am to 5 pm. Gallery visitors are welcome during times classes are in progress unless otherwise stated.
FIRST FRIDAYS at PAL
Every First Friday of the month is an opening reception for exhibitions from 6:00 – 8:30pm. Meet the artists, chat with other art appreciators, enjoy light refreshments and drink.
ART & WINE NIGHTS
End your week with a light-hearted and congenial get together. Bring your friends or meet new ones. All levels welcome, from beginner to advanced. Let your creativity spill into a wonderful work of art.
Expand your knowledge and grow from other artists' perspectives. Open to everyone wanting an informal critique on their artwork. All levels and styles welcome. PAL instructors and special guest artists facilitate critiques.

Open Studios & Uninstructed Classes with Model
For artists of all levels who wish to work from a model in their own media. You work independently without an instructor in a congenial atmosphere. Models appear for multiple classes and poses are chosen by class participants. Drop-ins welcome. (link)
The Pacific Art League of Palo Alto offers our Corridor Gallery to rent for a period of one month to individual artists and groups of artists for the purpose of exhibiting their work. After School Programs
PAL provides after school art classes for students in grades K-2 and 3-5 at Encinal Elementary School and grades K-3 at Laurel and Oak Knoll Elementary schools in Menlo Park. Mobile Digital Arts workshops are held in collaboration with the Redwood City Police Activities League and the Boys and Girls Club of East Palo Alto.
