Note: After you have had three Community Sites shows, you are eligible to be juried for a Norton Studio exhibit.
Signing Up for an Exhibit
Signups for Community Site shows take place according to schedule. With a few exceptions, the shows are scheduled for two-month periods. Not all sites are filled at the reception, however, and some artists may have to cancel during the year. if you are interested in a show at a particular site, contact the Site Coordinator to schedule a show or be put on the waiting list.
We ask that you sign up for only one show in each two-month period. Once you have exhibited at a given site, you may not exhibit again at that site for two years.

Hanging Your Show
About a month before your exhibit is due to be hung, your Site Coordinator will mail you a packet of information about it. It is your responsibility to contact the artist who precedes you at the site, as well as the Site Contact, to arrange a time to hang your work. It's important that the site not be left with bare walls for more than a few hours! If you have any problems with hanging or removing your exhibit on time, please contact the Site Coordinator immediately.
You will receive a form to list the works you are exhibiting; be sure to include a price for each work. A copy of this form should be left at the site, and another copy sent to Pacific Art League. Your exhibit will be listed on this webpage, and you are free to publicize it yourself in any way you choose. However, you should not put your phone number on any materials you leave at the site. If someone wants to buy a work from your exhibit, they should contact the Art League, which will handle the sale and retain a 40% commission.
