Pacific Art League Scholarship Information and Application
Pacific Art League supports artists and art enthusiasts by offering scholarships for PAL classes.
Scholarships help some PAL students attend one class or workshop per quarter, with a maximum of two classes per fiscal year and two applicants per family. If you'd like to be considered for a scholarship, please visit our website at www.pacificartleague.org and view the upcoming class and workshop schedule or contact the front desk at 650-321-3891 to request a catalog. The schedule is posted six weeks before the start of each quarter.
[Please note that submission of the PAL Scholarship Application constitutes an agreement from the applicant to the registration and scholarship policies as outlined by the Pacific Art League. A release from liability must be signed at the time of registration.]
The deadline for submitting an application for each quarter (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer) is three weeks before the start of the quarter. If all application materials are not received on time the scholarship cannot be granted. Space in a class or workshop may not be held while an application is in process. Funds are limited and applicants with the greatest financial need will be given priority.
Complete and sign the Pacific Art League Scholarship application form along with a personal letter of intent from the applicant, stating the applicant’s commitment to the arts and reasons for taking the particular class, and (if the applicant is under the age of 18) a second letter of support from the applicant’s parent or teacher/mentor. Scholarships cover tuition only. Recipients are responsible for any supplies, fees or transportation associated with the class or workshop. If receiving a scholarship, any balances on an account must be paid at the time of registration. Registration must be finalized within five business days of notice. Tuition will be paid directly to the Pacific Art League.
Scholarship money and/or scholarship applications can not be transferred from one class to another unless the assigned class is cancelled for any reason.
Applications will be delayed if incomplete. Be sure to include all of the following documents:
- personal letter explaining your decision to apply for scholarship
- letter of support from a parent, teacher, mentor or others; this letter should indicate the applicant’s commitment to the arts and to the time class requires.
