BOARD PRESIDENT'S MONTHLY NEWSLETTER | JULY 2016

Dear Members,

Our summer classes are in full swing .Our galleries are full of young people taking part in summer camps, and we look forward to seeing all of you here.

Don’t miss PAL’S annual print show, Pacific Prints where you will see some extraordinary pieces by some of the finest printers in the area.  Join us First Friday, August 5. As members, you are invited to come ahead of the general public at 5:30 to enjoy wine and appetizers with the exhibiting artists.

We are getting ready for our 95th Anniversary celebration. This year promises to be bigger than ever.  I invite all of you to participate in our anniversary exhibition by submitting works. Your $100 per submission donation is fully tax-deductible and helps to keep classes affordable for everyone.  We are the largest gallery in downtown Palo Alto and your work will be on view for the entire month of September to fellow members and artists as well as hundreds of passers-by who live and work downtown.

As an added bonus, if you submit online by August 8th, your work will be considered for all the marketing materials for the exhibition- postcards, posters and the huge banner installed on the building.

So save the date- September 9th to celebrate PAL and all of our artists, members and instructors!

Cheers,
Theo Keet
