As we close out a successful 2017, I want to thank YOU for all the support you give PAL, which enables us to be a vital cultural hub in downtown Palo Alto. Whether it’s promoting Pacific Art League to friends in your community, taking a class, volunteering, or attending First Friday events – we are always thankful for what you do. Without you, our members, students, and regular visitors to the gallery, we could not continue our 96-year tradition of spreading the joy of art in all its forms to all in our community.
2017 was a very successful year for us, building our revenue stream from expanded education programs and from our calendar of exhibitions. Although these two revenue sources form our financial foundation, continued support from our members and friends is vital for our ongoing growth and financial stability, so please consider us in your end of year giving plans.
Increasingly, our evolving mission at PAL is to help underprivileged children have access to high quality art education. This vitalfacet of education is sadly lacking from schools across California, so in 2018 we are planning a range of new after school programs to help fill this learning gap.
By including PAL in your giving plans, you not only help us with our operational costs but also help children who would not normally have access to art classes, which we believe are vital for their academic success and happiness.
