Education Manager Internship (June, July & August)

We are offering a three-month internship to cover maternity-leave for valued Education Manager. The following outlines the scope of the role and desired experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Academic Director (AD) in all aspects of running a professional and broad-based curriculum of art classes

  • Work closely with faculty of instructors to schedule their classes on a quarterly basis, working with AD to ensure we have the broadest range of classes per medium and level of instruction

  • Work extensively to update and input all class information into class registration and database system (ASAP).

  • Work closely with Marketing Director in production of all promotional materials and quarterly catalog

  • Create and maintain all instructor contracts

  • Maintain reimbursement records for instructors

  • Co-ordinate with Gallery Manager and Janitor to ensure all class room set ups are in place ahead of classes

  • Manage scheduling of all Summer camps and work with marketing to promote in a timely manner

Desired Experience and Skillset:

This role is very detail orientated and requires the successful applicant to have good computer skills and the ability to multi task in a high energy and fun environment. This person will also have a friendly demeanor and “can do” positive outlook, with the ability to work with many different personalities. An interest in the visual arts or experience as a practicing artist would be very beneficial. The internship will commence in early June of 2019 for three months, and will potentially include compensation based on level of experience
