Nadya Chuprina

Nadya Chuprina is an arts professional with more than a decade of experience in public art, artist selection, commissions, installations, and collections management. She serves as Public Art Program Coordinator for the City of Palo Alto, where she manages the development of temporary and permanent public art projects and stewards a collection of more than 300 artworks. Her work involves working closely with artists and fabricators, fine art conservators, and arts professionals to develop and evaluate public art projects from concept through implementation, and preservation. 

She holds a Master’s Degree in Arts Policy and Management, with a focus on Public Art, from Birkbeck, University of London, as well as degrees in English Translation and Cultural Studies from Moscow State University of Service. 

A San Carlos resident, Nadya also serves on the board of the Community Foundation of San Carlos, where she leads community-building and cultural events initiatives. Passionate about art and artistic expression in all its forms, she is inspired by the ways art can connect people and offer new perspectives. She loves traveling and experiencing art and culture around the world and draws on these experiences in her appreciation of diverse artistic practices and approaches.
