Treasurer (Chief Financial Officer)
The Treasurer is an officer of the Board and plays a central role in keeping Pacific Art League on strong financial footing. We are seeking a thoughtful, organized financial leader who can help oversee PAL’s finances and support long-term strategic planning.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring that PAL maintains complete and accurate financial records
Providing financial oversight and helping the Board understand PAL’s financial position
Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
Overseeing any required financial audit
Reviewing PAL’s annual tax filings and financial information for the Annual Report to Members
Ensuring that funds are disbursed according to policies established by the Board
Performing the customary duties of a nonprofit treasurer and chief financial officer
Preferred experience and qualities:
Financial management experience in a business or nonprofit organization
Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and profit-and-loss responsibility
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
A collaborative approach and willingness to learn PAL’s financial systems
Previous nonprofit experience is preferred but not required
Prior nonprofit board service is not required
Time commitment:
Approximately one Board meeting per month
Additional committee and financial oversight work as needed
A three-year term, with the opportunity to serve one additional consecutive term

We are seeking thoughtful, community-minded leaders who can bring fresh perspectives, professional experience, and new connections to Pacific Art League. Prior nonprofit board service is welcome but not required. This list is not exhaustive. If you have other skills, experience, or ideas that could help PAL grow and better serve our community, we would love to hear from you.

Fundraising and development
Public relations and media
Community outreach and partnerships
Real estate and facilities
Education and curriculum development
Technology
Event planning
Gerontology and programs serving older adults
Time commitment:
Approximately one Board meeting per month
A three-year term, with the opportunity to serve one additional consecutive term

We welcome individuals of all body types, backgrounds, and levels of modeling experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Portrait, clothed figure, and nude figure modeling opportunities may be available, depending on class needs
Models should be comfortable and experienced in holding poses for extended periods
Models must be able to follow instructor guidance
Professionalism and reliability in a classroom environment are essential
