Postcard Exhibition

We invite artists to participate in our Postcard Exhibition—a joyful celebration of big creativity in a tiny format.

Artists are encouraged to submit original works measuring no larger than 4 × 6 inches and explore just how much imagination, personality, and impact can fit into a postcard-sized space.

All styles and mediums are welcome, including drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, photography, and mixed media. These small-but-mighty artworks invite viewers to lean in, look closely, and discover the details, textures, and stories tucked inside each piece.

Submit your tiny treasures and surprise us with what you can create on a small scale.

To keep the exhibition fun, accessible, and priced to sell, all works must be available for purchase between $50 and $250. All works to must be priced between $50-$250.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all artists (members & non-members) and artistic works.

ENTRY FEE
First Submission
$10 regardless of Membership status.

Additional Submissions
$5 each additional submission regardless of Membership status.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Thursday, September 3, 2026

SELECTION NOTIFICATION DATE
Friday, September 4, 2026 (by email)

ART INTAKE
Accepted works must be hand-delivered to PAL on Thursday, September 24, 2026 (12pm - 4pm only)

ART PICK UP
Exhibited works must be picked up at PAL at the end of the exhibit on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 (12am - 4pm only)

SALES COMMISSION
Members 60/40 (in favor of the artist)
Non-Members 50/50 (in favor of the artist)

GUIDELINES
All artwork must measure exactly 4 × 6 inches, either vertically or horizontally. This measurement includes any mat, mount, or frame.

  • Framing is optional. If you choose to frame your work, the finished framed piece must still measure exactly 4 × 6 inches.

  • Clearly label each piece with the artist’s name and artwork title. Attach the label to the front of the frame, protective sleeve, or backing using a removable sticky note or piece of paper folded over to the front side. Please do not place tape directly on the artwork.

  • All artwork must be completely dry to the touch at the time of delivery.

  • Works on paper and prints must be mounted on a firm, sturdy backing.

  • Diptychs, triptychs, and other multi-piece works will not be accepted. Artists may submit multiple works as a series, but pieces may not be displayed together.

  • Hanging hardware is not required.

  • All artwork must be available for sale and priced between $50 and $250. We encourage artists to price these tiny treasures with accessibility in mind—we want them to find happy new homes!
