We invite artists to submit work for our upcoming Colored Pencil Exhibition, celebrating the vibrant possibilities of one of the most versatile and expressive drawing mediums. We welcome richly detailed, layered, and luminous works—ranging from realistic portraits and landscapes to imaginative abstractions and experimental techniques.
This exhibition is an opportunity to showcase the depth, precision, and artistry achievable with colored pencil. Artists are encouraged to explore the medium’s unique ability to blend fine detail with bold, saturated color, creating pieces that captivate and inspire viewers.
All skill levels and styles are welcome. Share your creativity, craftsmanship, and love for colored pencil in this special exhibition, and join us in highlighting the enduring beauty and evolving potential of this remarkable medium.

Open to all artists (members & non-members) and artistic works.

Exhibition Guidelines
ART INTAKE
Accepted works must be hand-delivered to PAL on Thursday, March 16, 2026 (12pm - 4pm only)
ART PICK UP
Exhibited works must be picked up at PAL at the end of the exhibit on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 (12am - 4pm only)
AWARDS
Ribbons will be awarded to works selected by the juror
SALES COMMISSION
Members 60/40 (in favor of the artist)
Non-Members 50/50 (in favor of the artist)
GUIDELINES
Measurements are based on the piece’s longest side, including the frame.
Size of work is limited to 36” wide by 36” tall, including the frame. Please note, that anything submitted over 36” will not be accepted into the show.
All 2D work must be ready to hang on a wire.
All 2D work must be framed or on gallery-wrapped canvas with finished edges.
All work must be labeled on the front with the title and artist’s name (post-it or paper taped to frame work well).
All works must be dry to the touch.
