Decade² – In an Instant

October 3 - 28, 2025
Located in the Forest Gallery

With Decade² - In an Instant, Artist Simeon James reflects on more than twenty years of artistic growth, exploration, and discovery. The title itself carries dual meaning: Decade² symbolizes both the span of two decades and the multiplying effect of time—how each year builds upon the last, shaping not only an artist’s work but also their sense of self. Returning home after nearly that same stretch of time, this exhibition becomes a full-circle moment, bridging past and present.

In an Instant captures the paradox at the heart of this journey. From the outside, it may appear sudden—like a moment that arrives all at once. Yet within each instant lies years of process, persistence, and transformation. The exhibition speaks to the way time both lingers and slips away, reminding us how fleeting yet profound each creative step can be.
