Art in the Garden is a cherished community celebration that invites visitors to stroll through the gardens while watching artists bring their work to life in real time.

Celebrate art, culture, and community with this free, hands-on workshop led by the Pacific Art League. Open to all ages and skill levels, you’ll learn how to create dazzling Mexican paper flowers using colorful tissue paper and pipe cleaners.
Explore fun techniques like folding, layering, and fluffing as you craft your own festive flores de papel—a vibrant tradition with roots in ancient China that blossomed in Mexico, where paper flowers have become central to celebrations like weddings and Día de los Muertos.

Known for transforming pavement into vibrant masterpieces, Joel brings his signature flair to Google Visitor Experience 2nd Anniversary celebration. Inspired by Joel’s work, you can create your own piece of summer on the pavement. Whether you’re drawing sunshine, sunsets, or your favorite summer treats, this event is all about cooling down, having fun, and celebrating End of Summer.
